1. hey diego.i just heard that you started new band vulvectomy.is this
band slam style band right haha? .first of all tell us how the band
started.and i guess the band still includes only you.so are you recruiting
some members now?
Hey Seiji, this is Diego your Italian bro! Yes, I started a new band,
Vulvectomy, with the intent to play brutal fucking slam but from
January till now, I got a lot of problems to find other members
interested in this project for the old same reasons but now finally
we have a full line up, because Mario from Putrid dismemberment joined
the band as guitarist and bass player we'll use a drum machine
till a real drummer and bassist will fill the vacancy with this
line up we'll record something very soon ahah.. we live in
different towns, Im from Bari they're from Rome, not so
close but we're very excited and motivated to play together in this
band even because we have exactly the same influences we have
talked just for a couple of hours and now we're ready to start.
2. describe your music and what bands influence you to come up with
vulvectomys sound
Vulvectomy is mainly influenced by these bands: Devourment,
Cephalotripsy, Abominable putridity, Gorevent, Artery eruption, Brodequin, Enmity,
Inhuman dissiliency etc.
3. your main band stench of dismemberment has both techy and brutal
parts and slow parts like slams and breakdowns.so how does vulvectomys
sound differ from stench of dismemberment?
Yes Vulvectomy is different: more simple and heavy!!! But with some
grind parts too
4. what kind of vocals do you use for vulvectomy? so you use another
style vocals you dont use in stench of dismemberment? and what bands
influence your vocals style?
Yes the vocals too will be different more pig squealing and frog
croaking ahah Id have to mention a lot of names as
influences: angel ochoa, wayne knupp, rob weber, brian Lunsford, mark rawls,
frogs and boars
5. describe your slam and breakdown parts!! and what bands inspire you
to come up with ideas for them?
When Mario writes slam riffs is inspired by our songs titles and
lyrics
6. the band includes also techy parts like disgorge?
Not so much, there are some grind part, but not a la disgorge
think they're more in the Inhuman dissiliency, Brodequin vein
7. what kind of gears do you use?
Mario uses Ibanez and Jackson guitars, Pod Line6 and Peavy
head our drum machine is a Boss dr 670, and I use Shure mics
8. you also dig JPDM bands like disconformity,glossectomy and etc as
well as US bands right? how do those bands influence vulvectomy?
Of course bro!!! I love Disconformity, Rest in gore, Vomit remnants,
Glossectomy, Gorevent
9. what bands have you been into recently? and any new slam bands from
italy?
Recently Im listening Cephalotripsy, Condemned, Devourment, and
many others dont know if in Italy there are other new slam
bands of course some have breakdowns and heavy riffs in their
songs

Our future plan is to record our songs very soon, to have our
merchandise out etc just the classic stuff of a band and of course
having fun seeing people moshing the pit when we'll play live ahah!!!
