off tell use abrief hisory of the band.and tell us current line up!!!!
Hey Seiji! Well, Unrelenting Butchery was started in 2006 by Yura, Fredrik and myself.
Yura plays guitar, Fredrik drums and I do the vocals. We also have a
bassist now I think hehe. Our goal was simply to create Brutal music and doing it well with technical guitars and sick drumming.
2. in my opinion Unrelenting butchery's riffs reminds me abit of internal
suffering.i mean the band sounds alot of fast paced riffs but you guys use slow and slam riffs.so you combine fast and slam stuff.how do you describe your bands sound? and what bands influence the bands sound alot?
Yeah man, that is what we like to do! Combine fast riffs and some more
slammin riffs. It feels more motivating to make it that way than just
making it all really fast. Its pretty hard man, I like it better when other people tell me what they
think about it. But we are very influenced by Disgorge (US) and like you
said before Internal suffering.
3. your vocals are sick as fuck.i wanna call them ultra low toilet styled
vocals.so you use exhale gutturals and gurgles right? any other styles you use besides them? and whats your vocals strong point others dont have,for instance yours are deeper and lower than others and etc?
I only use exhales! Sometimes I do more screaming and vomit-styled
stuff. Kind of goregrind if you know what I mean? I dont think I have any strong
points. There are too many things I want to improve before I could say such
a think.
4. and what vocalists influence you to come up with those current styles?
and whats the fisrt vocalist motivated you to start doing gutturals?
Ruben Rosas, Matti Way, Ulf Nylin, Blue Jensen, Joe Wolfe and many many
more. Chris Barnes for sure man!
I started when I was 13, growling to Tomb of the mutilated and stuff like
that. Vocalist like Chris Barnes and David Vincent are always a big
insperation to me.
5. what kind of gears do you guys use? and how writting songs work in
generally?
I have no idea about Yura because he lives in the Ukraine but Fredrik
uses D-Drums and I use a crappy superflux mic.
6. yura the guitarist lives in ukrain.so how did you hook up with him? and
actually sweden is far from there.so this band is only internet band? or you guys have a chance to practice and play shows?
Fredrik and Yura have a band called Repulsive dissction
(www.myspace.com/repulsivedissection) where Tom from Twitch of the death nerve does vocals so when we talked about starting a new band Yura became
the guitarist and he is one sick guitarist, thats for sure.
7. what releases will you have for near future? and you will have some
merch?
First we are gonna records some more songs and then we will see. There
will probably be a demo out in the future and Im not sure about merch. If
people like our shit and would like more merch then there probably will me
some.
8. hows swedens scene? and i wanna ask you if theres fans of ingurgitated decapitation zine hehe?
The scene here is OKEY. We have lots of great old school bands but not
that many Slam Death Metal bands. But I think there will be more and more
bands in the future.
Hell yeah man! All swedes that are into the Brutal Death scene know about
ingurgitated decapitation! I try to spread the word as much as possible.
9. question about the scene again,i really dig vomitous,level above human
,vaginal butcher colony and etc,so any new sick bands there? and uffe
ex-stabwound has some cool bands.you have chance to meet him and chill out
with him for something?
I dont know about and newer bands than those you just mentioned. But
check out Obscene! Thats one of my favourte underground bands here in
Sweden. Unfortunally I havent. ive been talking a lot with Uffe by MSN and
stuff but never had the pleasure to meet him. I meet the guys from Vomitous
whenever I get the chance tho. Mike has a girlfriend here in Stockholm so I
meet him as much as possible.
10. you guys have other projects?
Fredrik and Yura has Repulsive Dissection and me and Fredrik has MP5-K.
11. how do you think about our jpdm scene? you dig some bands from here?
I love the Japanese scene! Vomit remnents, Glossectomy, Disconformity,
Infected malignity, Defiled, Rest in gore etc. All great bands!
