1. 1.hey justin how are things going?present orchidectomy for those who dont know the band.Hey man things are going absolutly perfect! The band is doing great. we are a canadian three piece hailing from Toronto and a city very close to it called cambridge! Weve been together for about 10 months now and have one demo out so far but theres been talks about split cds as of late so that might be next ill keep you posted!
2. why did you start the band and what motivated you to do that?
The band was an idea that was just floating around before i even met the other two members. The name was already thought up,but it was impossible to find someone into the same shit that waned to do the same thing who werent already in a band. I met tom and alf out of nowhere at a lapidate concert and two weeks later we were jamming. The rest is history!
3. canada has alot of sick ass bands like anal bleeding, cumgun, lapidate, fecalized twat, crackwhore. any other new sick ass bands in canada?
Definently check out disgust man! [www.disgustmusic.com] not really a new band i know ive mentioned them before, but theyre fuckin sick and theyve helped us get to this status more than we could have ever asked. Theyre great guys man and play some pretty ultra brutal shit and well owe them tons!!! And ofcourse theres Lapidate! Seiji man, i know youve heard their shit before, but anyone else who reads this that hasnt heard Lapidate, get on it!!!!! you wont regret these guys are fucking sick!!!!! brutalist and catchiest shit around, great guys too man, good friends of ours and theyve helped us out a LOT too. Then theres Cumgun and are they ever fucking insane. Just caught them live for the first time last week and they absoluty destroyed live!! the newer shit is absolutly top fucking notch man!!!! they just came here and ill be keeping my fingers crossed for that! and im glad to hear youre enjoying crackwhore too man. cant go wrong there i cant wait for the new album. besides those four, theres some bands like Slit Writhing Elizabeth, FATO [for sure man! these guys are SOOOO catchy], deamon, fuck the facts, eschatus... thats all i can think of now, i know ive forgoten some though! too much pot haha
4. shawn inhumandissiliency introduced orchidectomy to me.you had played with them? so any other bands that you recommend and do the bands get along with each other?
We havent had the honour to play with Inhuman Dissiliency yet. Unfortunantly we cant cross the border for a year and a few more months, but we would love to one day. those guys are fucking brutal as hell. Ive only spoken to shawn but hes a great guy, had some buttons made up for us and sent me all kinds of ID shit so im HUGELY in debt to him man. hopefuly one day we can share the stage with them and watch them completely tear everything up!!! as far as bands getting along, were on good terms with a lot of the locals, just met escahtus for the first time the other night theyre cool. Then theres FATO, Lapidate, Cumgun, Disgust all brutal motherfuckers were tight with!! heh but ive already covered that!
5. what bands have influenced orchidectomy the most?
when it comes to influences, were all huge on everything the Bailey brothers have done like Brodequin and Liturgy. Also Cinerary [RIP] and Disgorge [the new shit is absolutly amazing] are huge influences on us!
6. why did you get into brutal music and what did you find so special about it? what was the first death metal band that you got into?
Death metal just grew on me as im sure it did to alot of other people. You gotta start somewhere right? Way back in the day i listened to all this shitty gay stuff, then i got into shit like cannibal corpse, slayer, nile etc. which progressed into mortician, aborted etc. and eventually bringing me here. i coudlnt be more happier with the path i went on. everything about death metal i absolutly love. of course its not popular, but thats what makes it so great, everyone into it stays close. I wouldnt ever want it any other way!!!
7. what bands have you been into recently? name your top 5 favorite releases.
hahah i cant name my top 5 man its impossible and changes all the time. right now it would probaly be something like: [in no particular order]

Cinerary - Rituals of Desecration [always will be one of my favs]

but lately ive been spinning a lot of retch, wormed, pustulated, mortician, internal suffering etc etc. its all brutal brutal shit!
8. youve heard of bands from japan? we got some sick bands here like vomitremnants, disconformity, rest in gore, and infected malignity.
Havent heard rest in gore or infected malignancy as yet, but vomit remnants and disconformity are fucking amazing man!!! when glossectomy broke up it was a sad day, but disconformity were born afterwards so its all good man. Japans got some pretty fuckin brutal shit. keep it coming man!
9. i personally love break down's awhole lot.artery eruption, inhumandissiliency, disconformity, digested flesh and guttural secrete seems to love slam parts!! what the word "breakdown" means to you?
To me they're there to completely swing someone by their fuckin nuts. To completely annihilate whoever is listening to the disc. The bands listed above are the cream of the crop man and no one does it better! Even though the shit we play doesnt have as many breakdowns as these bands, I can still honestly say that some of the best shit I've ever heard has come from the bands you've listed above man!!!
10. you have recently released a demo and a very good oneat that(this demo absolutly rules and it is worth checking out-seiji), how has the response been to your demo?
Yea man thanks for the good words, but I've got to appologize to you and every single person that has asked the band for the demo. Between computer troubles and the people at the printing place being complete idiots, and us selling every single copy we've had at the shows we've played, It's taken us a LOT longer than we wanted or expected to ship out the demos. So just bare with us please, so far though the people that have got it have liked it. No negative comments so far!
11. ok last question what up coming releases do you have and what can we expect from them?
Cant let the cat out of the bag just yet man but there's been talks arising and Ill keep you posted but expect nothing but the best...from both sides hehe
