Interview with Shawn of Insidious Decrepancy and Inextricable Entrails
1. hey shawn what's up! i'm glad i got to interview you again! ok first of all tell us about your new band infant jesus bukkake!
Hey bro, thanx for the interview, and nice to meet in Tokyo this year! My band Infant Jesus Bukkake has actually taking a change, the band name will now be called Inextricable Entrails and the cd will be called Delusional Malpractice!
2. describe Inextricable Entrails sound, its like a mix of devourment and viral load right?
Yea, basically it's gonna sound like devourment on crack!!!!!!!!!!!
3. what's the main concept of Inextricable Entrails ? and how did you come up with the band name?
Well with Infant jesus bukkake, I was making a joke and making it into a band, but now i'm involved with more people, I want to make the project more serious, so this is why I decided to change the name to INEXTRICABLE ENTRAILS! My band names come from the depths of my insanity!! hahahahahahahha!
4. your debut cd will be out through inherited suffering records, so how did you hook up with alex the label's owner and tell us when its out and that cd's sound and etc.
Yea, the cd will be out on Inherited Suffering records this summer! I basically met Alex on the internet and we have been friends ever since, I also had the chance to meet Alex and Vladimir from the label on my recent European tour! Awesome!
5. what's different from Inextricable Entrails compared to your other two bands, viral load and insidious decrepancy?
This band will be low tuned first of all, and the music will be more primitive and brutal!
6. are you planning on any other projects besides these 3?
Well I sing for Grotesque Formation too, so i'm a busy son of a bitch!
7. what bands influence you to create Inextricable Entrails sound? and when it comes to writing songs how does it work?
Basically I'm influenced by late 90's texas death metal, only the most brutal shit allowed, aha! As far as songs go, I do all the writing!
8. as for the txdm scene there's been some good news like devourment released a new album and sect of execration is back in the scene. so what do you think about the current scene and any sick new bands you think inherit txdm brutality?
Yea, the texas scene is really thriving again, which rules! But some bands to check out would be Images of Violence, Braced for Nails, Scattered Remains, and Cerebral Rot!
9. what bands or cd's have you been listening to lately?
Oh man, the new Sadus, new Vader ep, OSI, Nevermore, and Evergrey!
10. what's the future plans for Inextricable Entrails concerning gigs and etc?
No plans as of yet, just a studio thing for now!
thanks shawn! any words you would like to add like plugs or shout-outs?
Thanx for the interview, and look out for the new viral load cd, new grotesque formation, and coming soon Inextricable Entrails!!! oh yea, I'm having the latest Insidious cd remixed and mastered too! so keep on the lookout!
