1. hey harold! give us a brief history of the band and tell us why you started inbreeding sick? and what's the current line up of the band?INBREEDING SICK WAS FORMED IN NOVEMBER OF 2004 BY ME (GUITAR), ROLANDO(BASS) AND MAURO (DRUMMER) OF GOREINHALED (SPAIN). OUR INFLUENCES ARE DEVOURMENT AND BRODEQUIN. IN MAY OF 2005 WE RECORDED The DEMO-CD "THE IMPALER" WHICH CONTAINS 4 TRACKS AND THEY ARE 2 OF OUR ORIGINAL SONGS AND 2 COVER SONGS OF MORTICIAN AND MELTING FLESH. IN AUGUST OF 2005 MAURO RETURNED TO SPAIN SO INBREEDING SICK DECIDED TO USE A DRUM MACHINE. THE DEMO "THE IMPALER" WAS RE-RECORDED WITH PROGRAMMED DRUMS AGAIN FOR A SPLIT CD THROUGH A COLOMBIAN LABEL NAMED GRIND SYNDROME RECS AND A ITALIAN LABEL DESPISE THE SUN RECS IN JANUARY OF 2006, THE CURRENT LINE UP IS ME (GUITAR) AND ROLANDO (VOCALS AND BASS). WE BOTH DO DRUM PROGRAMMING AS WELL.
2. inbreeding sick is definitely a sick guttural slamming brutal death band but describe the band's sound in your own words! and what bands can you compare inbreeding sick with and that influence the band?
INBREEDING SICK'S SOUND IS DEFINITELY BRUTAL, IT'S SICK AND BLASTING BUT WITH SLAMMING THROWN IN THERE AS WELL, I DON'T KNOW WHAT BANDS WE COMPARE OUR SOUND WITH BUT AS I SAID PREVIOUSLY, WE ARE INFLUENCED BY BRODEQUIN AND DEVOURMENT.
3. which do you prefer a drum machine or a human drummer and why?
WE PREFER A HUMAN DRUMMER LIKE MAURO, IN GIGS THE PRESENCE OF A HUMAN DRUMMER IS BETTER, BUT IN COLOMBIA IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND HIGHLY SKILLED DRUMMERS. FOR THAT REASON WE DECIDED TO PROGRAM THE DRUMS
4. your other band melting flesh has cool breakdowns just like inbreeding sick so do you create guitar riffs for inbreeding sick like you create them for melting flesh or do you try to do another style of guitar riffs different from melting flesh?
TRUTH IS BOTH BANDS HAVE THE SAME INFLUENCES BUT IN INBREEDING SICK WE USED THINGS THAT WE DONT USE IN MELTING FLESH, BUT I BELIEVE THAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 BANDS IS THE DRUMS. INBREEDING SICK'S DRUM SOUND IS MUCH FASTER.
5. tell us about what releases you will have out soon.
AS I SAID,THE DEMO "IMPALER" WAS RE-RECORDED FOR THE SPLIT CD WITH BOMBEROS FROM ITALY. THAT BAND IS CRAZY AND ONE HELL OF AN EXTREME BAND. THE SPLIT CD WILL BE RELEASED THROUGH BOTH THE COLOMBIAN LABEL GRINDSYNDROME RECS AND THE ITALIAN LABEL DESPISE THE SUN RECS.
6. any favorite guitarist's that influence you to create cool slamming parts?
DEVOURMENT'S GUITAR PLAYERS ARE PURE FUCKING SLAMMING GODS!!!!
7. what new releases have you been into recently? have heard the new devourment cd butcher the weak? it kills!
I LISTENED A SINGLE TRACK OF DEVO'S NEW CD, BUT I HAVE THE NEW ONE FROM MINDLY ROTTEN AND ITS INCREDIBLE!!
8. how's the scene in colombia? any local sick slam guttural bands out there like inbreeding sick? and what do you think about our japanese scene? my bros bands disconformity, and rest in gore really dig slam and groove so i hope our scene will have great connections with your scene.
THE COLOMBIAN SCENE IS VERY GOOD BUT PROBLEMS ARE WITH ORGANIZERS OF GIGS THAT DONT FULFILL THEIR DUTIES FOR THE BANDS. THE JAPANESE SCENE IS GOOD AS WELL AND ITS GOOD TO HAVE GREAT CONNECTIONS BETWEEN OUR COLOMBIA SCENE AND YOUR JAPANESE SCENE.
9. any plans for the future like gigs or fest's etc? and will you stay as a two man sick band or will you recrute a new drummer?
IN 2006 WE WANT TO DO THE RECORDING OF OUR FULL LENGTH CD WITH A GOOD DRUMMER.
