1. hey oscar! first of all give us a brief history of the band and describe your bands sound.We have been making slam style brutal death metal for three years now. we like the grind style with a lot of groove and brutal parts. our lyrics of our songs are sick. they are about the demented people, the psychopaths, and many of the cases that happened in our country. We want to make a strong, heavy and very brutal sound and we are inspired by bands like Vomit Remnants,Dying Fetus, Devourment and etc.
2. your band has great slam parts! who comes up with all those parts?
From the beginning of Carnivore Diprosopus to now Juan Pablo (guitar) and I have taken charge of composing the music and creating this style and sound. Pure Slamming rules haha!
3. your guttural vocals are really sick! what vocalist's influence you?
Thank's for your comment Seiji. in fact there's really a lot of sick and brutal vocalists that have influenced me for years since I began to listen to brutal death metal up till now. I'll give you the top 3 vocalists.
1. Chris Barns (he was in Cannibal Corpse at first and now in Six Feet Under )
2. John Gallager ( Dying Fetus )
3. Ruben Roses ( Devourment ).
4. your first album from gore and blood production is one of my fav discs. how was the response to it?
thank you for your words again seiji. there was some inconveniences, some economic problems and other things. but we achieved it! thanks to the support of Daniel Paz from colombian label Gore and Blood Production who offered to release it and worked with us to release the disk. and i'm so glad to have received a lot of awesome responses for FILLED MY STOMACH WITH TO PREGNANT`S CORPSE cd from the brutal scenes of countries like: U.S.A, Mexico, Germany, Spain, Japan,Greece, Czech Republic and etc.
5. tell us about the new cd. what label will release it? and how does the new cd sound compared to the previous release?
the new cd Is titled: " MADHOUSE MACABRE ACTS " it will be out to the world market in October and released by Spanish label Dan`s crypt records. new cd's sound is beastial, heavy, devastating, and overwhelming, due to the musical evolution that Juan Pablo, Santiago, and me have done. and our new drummer sander contributes to the band's technique and speed.
6. why do you think there's a lot of ultra guttural brutal death bands in colombia? what do you think about the future of the colombian scene?
I think that the Colombian youth doesn't stop to think about that they grow up in this country with conflict, violence, murders, violations etc... and some of them find playing grind music to get away from that. we also had that opportunity to relieve us from our hate without resorting to violence ourselves so its playing brutal death that keeps us happy. Colombia is the second country after U.S.A that makes a great contribution to the grind scene in the continent of America. you realize that the colombian grind bands, they all have their own sound like internal suffering, purulent (rip), and goretrade. here there are excellent musicians, and good bands.It is the reason that my Colombian grind scene has a great future.
7. what bands have you been listening to recently?
recently I have been listening to DIGESTED FLESH, STABWOUND, SOILS OF FATE, INSIDUOS DECREPANCY, VIRAL LOAD, DISGORGE ( USA ) , BRODEQUIN, and for years ive listened to DEICIDE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, INTERNAL BLEEDING, DEVOURMENT, DYING FETUS, KATAKLISM...etc
8. tell me about your scene. any sick new bands? i know of some new bands like amputated genitalia, extreme rotten flesh, mindly rotten, meatgrinder, sourpuz. any more?
As I said, there is so much great scene's and bands i mentioned. new sick bands worth checking out are DEVOURED DECAPITATION and IMBREEDING SICK.
9. i think you really care about guttural vocals and slam parts. do they mean a lot for the band? and what motivated you to start this kind of music?
I like to do guttural vocals and make slam style brutal death metal. and I love the grind that isn't simple. I don't like noise, we like to make music that gets people mad. I do guttural vocals to make people get strong and aggressive.
10. what are your plans for the band after releasing the new cd?
We would like go to play in several countries where there are a lot of people who would like to see CARNIVORE DIPROSOPUS live (including Japan hehehe.. excellent country) and prepare our third cd.
11. when your creating songs, what bands influence you the most? and how do you guys create songs?
There are many bands that influence us when we make our music, like old and classic bands such as: MONSTROSITY, MORBID ANGEL, OBITUARY, CANNIBAL CORPSE, and some recent bands as: INTERNAL BLEEDING, FLESHGRIND, DEVOURMENT, DYING FETUS, PROPHECY, VOMIT REMNANTS, ENTORTUREMENT, GORETRADE and a lot more. We make the music cuz we like thinking that people like our music. for that, every time we compose new songs we want to make them brutal, heavy, bestial, devastating and very very crazy, andÊinsane hehehe.
12. express CARNIVORE DIPROSOPUS live!
playing live we become lunatics , lots of insanity and jumping hehe. some day you have to see CARNIVORE DIPROSOPUS live . The energy that we give playing live is so mad and very brutal.
13. who will do the cover art of the new cd?
there were two Colombian artists and one North American artist who we wanted to do it. but at the end, we decided to choose one North American. he is very brutal and you know of him, his name is Mike Majewski from devourment.
14. last question, what's the main goal for the bands sound?
We want to continue making slam style brutal death metal for a long time and get people to go mad for CARNIVORE DIPROSOPUS.
