bio of grotesque formation. why did you join grotesque
formation?Life is pretty sick here in Texas! I joined Grotesque Formation about a year ago, they asked me to do vox, and I said, fuck yes I will, the rest is history!
2. if i'm not mistaken, you are the vocalist in this band not the guitarist.but you are both in insidious decrephancy.which do you like better,vocalist or guitarist?
i like guitar first, but doing vocals is fun as well!
3. describe grotesque formation's sound! and how different is this band's sound compared to insidious decrephancy?
GF is total old school grind meets Devourment slam parts! Insidious is more for lovers of tech-death.
4. you got any deal's with any labels to release new cd or is it gonna be self released?
We are releasing it ourselves.
5. how do you guys create songs? and are you concentrating on only vocal parts?
Pretty much they write the songs and lyrics, and send me a copy of the music and lyrics, and I practice here at my home, and then drive down and play shows with them!
6. what vocalist's influence you when it comes to your ultra guttural vocals?
Wayne and Ruben of Devourment, John Gallagher, and Frank Rini
7. how's the txdm scene? it getting any better? any sick new bands you can recommend us?
The scene is sicker than ever bro! Some good bands to check out are Cerebral Rot, Exculcerate, and Condemned!
8. txdm's influence on the brutal death scene is huge and you are a big part of it so tell us what's the definition of it?

9. does grotesque formation have txdm style slam parts like viral load?
Yea like V.L. and Devourment
10. what band's and releases have you been into now?
New Aeon right now!
11. how do you feel about the japanese scene?
The Japanese scene is super sick, it fucking rules brother!

Yea, dominating the earth!
13. what's the main goal of this band's sound?
To crush heads, that's it!
14. i heard you started up a new band named infant jesus bukkake. tell us about this band. does it sound like devourment or viral load?
Yea, that's a project i'm gonna do, it's a mix of both I guess
15. last question here shawn, in your opinion which country has a lot of sick bands? personally, i'm into colombia's scene.
USA will always be the dominate force in Death metal, period, haha
